Volunteer Positions

All Volunteering

  • After you complete our intake form, you'll be added to our mailing list
  • Every time there's a new opportunity, we send an email with a Google Sheet, where you can COMMENT to sign up for positions that you are interested in attending.
  • For most events you will receive an email the day before with the details of your volunteering shift. Please be sure to read the entire email as it may have actions that need to be taken prior to your shift.
  • Please only register to sign up for events that you are sure you can attend.
  • Two cancellations or no shows within 72 hours of an event, will mean you can no longer volunteer with us. Signing up for multiple events just to cancel days later, will mean you can no longer volunteer with us. Please be respectful of our staff/volunteer's time!

Corporate or Group Volunteer Opportunity

By far, the best way to get your employees engaged in a corporate team building event is by giving back to the local community. Toronto Cares Initiative has several opportunities available for corporations to create kits or put on events that will directly impact low-income marginalized families within Toronto. From holiday events to food security initiatives to supporting those with mental health challenges and the unhoused, we provide a plethora of options, each with the opportunity for your employees to engage with each other while giving back.
