This year, we are doing our clothing drives on a monthly basis, so that you can get rid of all of those unwanted items as you change over your closets to get ready for next season. We're also pleased to inform you that we will be collecting household items & select office supplies in addition to clothing, so that you can declutter more and help low-income children at the same time.
NEW this year... We're now accepting Unopened, Unexpired, NON-PERISHABLE FOOD items, for our 'Produce Market/Food Bank'.
100% of all donations will help fund our Back-To-School, Easter & Christmas deliveries, with registration starting in August, April & November. See details at the bottom of the page.

WHAT HAPPENS TO YOUR DONATIONS?
1) All non-perishable food items go to our weekly 'Produce Market/Food Bank' for low-income families & seniors.
2) Each month, we get donation requests from our recipients, so we allow them to come in on sorting days and pick out any of the items that they might need.
3) We save many items to distribute during the monthly Community Homeless Meal such as: hats, mittens, gloves, scarves, coats, men's shoes, water bottles, backpacks, suitcases, tents and sleeping bags.
4) We collect small, working, secondhand electronics to distribute amongst seniors, refugees, and the unhoused... This includes items such as computers and laptops, tablets and cell phones, and small flat screen TVs.
5) We also donate to several organizations such as last month when we got a surplus of Mary Kay products that we donated to Dress For Success, and new women's clothing to Sistering Shelter. We use all toiletries that are donated to give out to the homeless population when we do our community meals.
6) Nicer or larger items, we put into our MaxSold secondhand auctions held 4 times per year & new items we put into our Mobilbid silent auctions held as our Christmas and Spring-Into-Summer fundraisers.
7) Lastly, after we collect them from you or you drop them off at one of our centers, we sort through everything and then have REMAINING ITEMS picked up by our clothing recycling partners, City Recycling, who pay us by the pound for all the donations we deliver. Next, we use the funds to purchase items that are being delivered directly to our recipients. We are an entirely volunteer run organization, so none of the profits go towards salaries, renting trucks, storage units, rental spaces, etc.
