By far, the best way to get your employees engaged in a corporate team building event is by giving back to the local community. Toronto Cares Initiative has several opportunities available for corporations to create kits or put on events that will directly impact low-income marginalized families within Toronto. From holiday events to food security initiatives to supporting those with mental health challenges and the unhoused, we provide a plethora of options, each with the opportunity for your employees to engage with each other while giving back.
Each year, Toronto cares distributes toys to low-income marginalized families across Toronto. In 2023 we distributed over 1,000 toys to these families in-need, with help from Toronto firefighters toy drive as well as many, many corporate partners. If you would like to host a toy drive at your company, please complete the form below.
All toys must be dropped-off to our storage facility at 7 Ingram Dr, Toronto by Friday, December 13th, 2024 @ 7:00 pm.
We are most in need of items for ages 14-18.

Kits for a Cause is a program run by the Bargains Group, where corporations are able to purchase supplies, that are shipped directly to their office, to create kits at their own facility, which would then be donated to a local charity or non-profit organization.
Kits for a Cause will work with your corporation in order to determine what items will be put into each of the kits based on your number of participating employees and your budget.

We can help you fundraise on our free platform that is completely customizable to fit your branding and voice.
We offer a variety of on-site volunteering opportunities so your employees can get out of the office and actively support the community. The federal government is quite strict when it comes to giving charitable tax receipts. Your company, as part of its corporate giving, has the opportunity to either sponsor an event where your products and/or logo are present for our clients and the general public to be aware that you are sponsoring this particular initiative, or to receive a tax receipt in your company's name, but unfortunately it is not possible to do both at the same time.
Please visit our DONATE PAGE to complete the corporate tax receipt form, if you would like to go that route.
