REQUEST FOR DONATIONS
Dear Family, Friends & Supporters,
Toronto Cares is a non-profit initiative with a focus on helping low-income families in the Greater Toronto Area, through our Food Security Initiative, as well as Special Events like our Back-to-School Backpacks and Christmas Toy Drives that provide other necessities for a healthy mind, body & spirit.
We are currently collecting donations for our EASTER DELIVERIES. Last year we delivered Christmas presents to over 1000 children in low-income families across Toronto.
Our goal for this Easter season is to provide at least 150 families with WELLNESS KITS, EASTER TREATS & GROCERY GIFT CARDS! These are families where their parents, for various physical or mental health limitations, are unable to leave their homes, due to illness, disability, or financial insecurity need our support!
Please consider donating to our Bi-Annual Clothing & More Drive Spring 2023 or Easter Delivery 2023: by visiting www.toronto-cares.ca/easter-2023
At this time, we encourage financial donations to the GoFundMe or e-Transfer options to ensure that gifts are balanced and age appropriate. Anything helps!
Much Love ❤️ The Toronto Cares Team

Our amazing team of recipients, donors & volunteers, who make up our management staff are dedicated to helping others in any way possible. We are currently a group of 12 summer students, 5 administrators, 300+ delivery volunteers and 1000+ other volunteers, who take our convictions and turn them into actions on a daily basis.

Our nonprofit initiative was created by, Sarah Robinson, a single mom on disability who received a donation herself in her greatest time of need. Overwhelmed that complete strangers would help her out, she decided that she needed to give back in any way possible. Sarah, started by connecting donors to recipients through Facebook groups & messenger, via simple email transfers. This has grown into a grocery delivery service for the most vulnerable people of society, including a variety of other vital resources. We service anyone in the GTA who is unable to leave their home, no questions asked!
Please see BlogTo article under "About Us" section details.
The focus of our initiative is to connect recipients with the resources and services that they require, especially during the covid-19 crisis. We believe in setting people up for long-term success, not just short-term solutions.
